| Opis awersu | The Honduran national coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a triangular escutcheon with a volcanic landscape and rising sun at centre, flanked by two quivers of arrows and two cornucopias arranged symmetrically on either side. The entire composition is surmounted by a mural crown and enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS arcs around the upper portion of the shield, while the date 1871 appears in the lower exergue. A decorative wreath and crossed elements frame the base of the design, and the entire coin is bordered by a fine beaded rim. |

| Opis rewersu | A prominent oak or pine tree divides the field at centre, its trunk flanked by crossed branches or laurel sprigs at the base and a pair of stars at the upper left and right. A circular legend surrounds the entire design. In the lower portion of the reverse, a commemorative inscription references the date of Central American independence, 15 DE SET. 1821, accompanied by the fineness designation 0.900, while the denomination 10 Ps. appears prominently within the field. The design is enclosed within a beaded border consistent with the pattern's milled production. |
