Reverse description Crowned Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, each head surmounted by an archducal crown and both heads beneath a large imperial crown at the top. The eagle bears the Austrian arms — the quartered shield of Austria — on its breast, and is flanked by ornamental laurel and oak branches. The mint marks C·A· appear in the lower central field flanking the eagle's tail, with the denomination numeral 10 in an ornamental cartouche at the bottom. The encircling legend ARCHID · AUST · DUX · BURGO · TYR · is distributed around the eagle, with the date 1778 appearing in the upper left field.
