A decorative border of scrolling floral and foliate ornaments frames the entire note, and the issuing locality name 'Säusenstein' is set in large Gothic script across the lower margin. Below the vignette, within a decorative guilloche cartouche, a three-line redemption text guarantees exchange into legal tender, with the expiry date 'Laufzeit bis 30.
