Beschrijving keerzijde	Reverse of the host Spanish Colonial 1 Real struck at the Mexico City Mint, displaying the remaining design elements of the original coin including partial legends around the periphery within a toothed border. The circular inscription identifies the coin as issued for Hispania and the Indies, with visible mint mark Mo for Mexico City, denomination 1R, and assayer initial P. A large round hole punched through the lower-left field partially obliterates the design, consistent with the Costa Rican cut-coin emergency coinage practice of the 1840s.
