正面描述	The obverse is dominated by an intaglio portrait of General José María Orellana at right, set against a fine guilloche underprint in pink and green tones. At upper centre, the bank title BANCO DE GUATEMALA and GUATEMALA CENTRO AMERICA appear in letterpress, flanked by an ornate quetzal bird vignette at left. The large numeral 1 is rendered in purple intaglio at centre, with two signature lines below and the printer's imprint at lower left.

背面描述	The reverse presents a view of the Banco de Guatemala headquarters building in Guatemala City at centre, rendered in intaglio against a pale green guilloche ground, with mountains in the background and the caption SEDE DE TIKAL below. To the left stands an intaglio vignette of the Estela de Leyden, an important Maya artefact. The national seal appears at right, and the denomination UN QUETZAL is inscribed at upper right in letterpress.
