Obverse description Equestrian figure of the ruler proceeding to the right, depicted in a schematic, stylised manner characteristic of early medieval Indian coinage. A bull is rendered in the lower field, forming part of the composite bull-and-horseman type. A Nagari legend encircles the central devices, reading the ruler's name and titles in the surrounding field. The overall fabric is irregular, with the design struck on a roughly circular flan typical of hammered copper jitals of the Tomara period.
