Descrizione del dritto	Right-facing draped and crowned bust of King Eric XIV occupying the central field, rendered in the crude hammered style typical of Baltic regional coinage of the mid-sixteenth century. The crown is prominently detailed with arched elements. A circular Latin legend runs around the periphery, separated from the central effigy by a beaded inner border. The portrait is executed in low relief with somewhat schematic facial features characteristic of the Reval mint's output.

Descrizione del rovescio	Central field displays the arms of Sweden — three stacked passant lions guardant arranged vertically within a distinctively wavy-sided shield, this feature being the defining characteristic of Type 2. The shield is rendered in relief with ornate contoured edges. A Latin circumferential legend surrounds the shield, separated by a beaded inner border, with the last two digits of the regnal year incorporated into the legend. The overall composition is typical of Reval civic coinage struck under Swedish royal authority.
