| Description du revers | The arms of the Cretan State occupy the central field: the Greek royal coat of arms — a quartered shield bearing a cross and a crowned eagle — supported by two nude male figures in classical style standing on a decorative plinth, the whole surmounted by a royal crown beneath an ermine-lined mantle. The legend ΚΡΗΤΙΚΗ ΠΟΛΙΤΕΙΑ (State of Crete) arcs around the upper periphery, while the denomination 1 ΔΡΑΧΜΗ appears along the lower border. A beaded border runs along the coin's inner rim.
