Obverse description Cast copper cash coin centered on a raised-rim square perforation. Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) are disposed in the four cardinal positions around the central square hole, reading clockwise from the top: 天 (Thiên), 感 (Cảm), 元 (Nguyên), 寶 (Bảo), forming the era-name inscription 天感元寶. The characters are rendered in relief against an otherwise unadorned field, with no inner or outer rim roping. The coin exhibits a heavily patinated green surface consistent with prolonged burial, typical of Lý dynasty cast coinage.
