| Descrizione del dritto | Central field displays the crowned arms of Holland — a shield bearing a rampant lion to sinister brandishing a sword, surmounted by an ornate royal crown rendered in high relief. The denomination fractions '1' and '2' flank the shield to left and right respectively, with 'GL' (Gulden) to the lower right. A continuous Latin circular legend runs along the toothed border, reading MO ARG ORD FÆD BELG HOLL 1/2 GL, identifying this as the silver money of the Federated Belgian Orders of Holland. The overall engraving style is characteristic of late Dutch Republic milled coinage. |
