The central motif appears to comprise a schematic figure or symbolic device accompanied by what may be a cross or similar emblem, surrounded by fragmentary inscription or decorative elements in the field. The surface is heavily encrusted with green and purple patination, obscuring much of the fine detail. The coin's irregular flan and crude fabric are characteristic of early medieval Central Asian civic issues from the Termez region. Legends, if present, are largely illegible due to advanced corrosion and flan irregularity. |
