These bronzes were struck during a period when indigenous Iberian communities retained limited autonomous minting rights under Roman provincial administration following the Gracchan reorganization of Hispania Citerior. The city disappears from the numismatic record entirely by the early first century BC, almost certainly absorbed into the broader Roman municipal framework as colonial consolidation tightened.
