| Description de l’avers | Central field dominated by the elaborate interlaced royal cypher of Stanisław August Poniatowski — the letters S and A intertwined in an ornate script monogram — surmounted by a royal crown with arched bands and cross finial. The mint date 1766 is divided to either side of the monogram, with '17' to the left and '66' to the right. The coin's milled border frames the entire design. No peripheral legend appears on this face; the regnal initials SAR are referenced only through the monogram itself. |

| Description du revers | The arms of the city of Gdańsk — two crosses in chief and a crown above — displayed on a shield held by two rampant lions facing outward in heraldic supporters arrangement. The engraver's initials F·L·S appear below the shield. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition, identifying the denomination and the issuing city. The design is rendered in a Baroque heraldic style characteristic of late eighteenth-century Polish municipal coinage. |
