| 表面の説明 | A multi-rayed comet or wheel motif dominates the field, composed of eight diverging lines radiating outward from a central raised pellet, the whole enclosed within a plain border. The radiating arms are rendered in a bold, schematic Celtic style with incised grooves creating a strong visual impression of motion or stellar energy. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-hammered production. No legend appears on this face. The design is characteristic of the 'Atrebatic D' coinage type attributed to Tincomarus. |

The creature's body is composed of bold curved lines with pellet ornaments indicating joints or decorative features, and a prominently curved neck and haunches. Scattered pellets and abbreviated decorative elements fill the surrounding field. A partial Latin legend, reading TINC, is present around the periphery, identifying the issuer as Tincomarus. The execution is typical of late Iron Age British coinage of the Atrebatic series. |
