The radiating arms are rendered in a bold, schematic Celtic style with incised grooves creating a strong visual impression of motion or stellar energy. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-hammered production. No legend appears on this face. The design is characteristic of the 'Atrebatic D' coinage type attributed to Tincomarus. |
