Descrizione del dritto	Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Emperor Crispus facing right, rendered in a debased late antique style characteristic of early Anglo-Saxon coinage. The effigy displays a stylised helmet with pronounced crest, the facial features boldly struck with a large eye, prominent nose, and defined chin. A beaded inner border frames the bust, with a retrograde or garbled Latin legend distributed around the periphery. The die work reflects the transitional imitative character of the thrymsa series, derived from late Roman prototypes.

Uncertain ornamental devices appear above and below the central cross motif. The overall composition derives from late Roman and Merovingian monetary prototypes, adapted by insular die-cutters of the mid-seventh century.
