Popis líce	Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Emperor Crispus facing right, rendered in a debased late antique style characteristic of early Anglo-Saxon coinage. The effigy displays a stylised helmet with pronounced crest, the facial features boldly struck with a large eye, prominent nose, and defined chin. A beaded inner border frames the bust, with a retrograde or garbled Latin legend distributed around the periphery. The die work reflects the transitional imitative character of the thrymsa series, derived from late Roman prototypes.

Popis rubu	A Latin cross with annulet terminals at each arm occupies the central field, flanked by the letters X X to either side, all enclosed within a wreath border. Uncertain ornamental devices appear above and below the central cross motif. The overall composition derives from late Roman and Merovingian monetary prototypes, adapted by insular die-cutters of the mid-seventh century.
