| Descripción del reverso | The Virgin Mary, crowned and seated upon an upturned crescent moon, is depicted in three-quarter view holding the Christ Child on her left arm and a scepter in her right hand. The figures are surrounded by an aureole of radiating rays extending to a plain inner circle, beyond which the encircling Latin legend occupies the outer border. The composition follows the Bavarian Marian devotional tradition, reflecting the religious patronage of the Wittelsbach dynasty. The design is rendered in a refined baroque style consistent with mid-seventeenth-century Bavarian coinage. |
