The features are strongly modelled in the Sicilian tradition, with a broad forehead and pronounced brow. A club is visible over the shoulder in the lower field. The flan border is defined by a faint dotted circle, partially visible on the irregular edge. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Three draped nymphs standing facing, arranged in a tight frontal group within a dotted border. The leftmost figure holds an amphora at her side, while the central and rightmost nymphs stand with arms at rest, all rendered in long chitons with finely incised drapery folds. The ethnic legend ΘΕΡΜΙΤΑΝ appears in the exergue in Greek capitals, identifying the issuing city of Thermai Himerensis. The composition reflects the city's particular veneration of its local nymph cult, a recurrent type on the bronze coinage of this mint. |
