Obverse description Jugate laureate and draped busts of the Dioskouroi facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic style, with a six-pointed star positioned above each bust in the field. The double portrait is set against a plain field with no surrounding legend. The busts are depicted in close profile, the figures overlapping in the characteristic synoptic arrangement associated with the twin deities Castor and Pollux.
