| Reverse description | Two upwardly coiling serpents rise symmetrically from the lower field, their bodies intertwined in the central register, with heads facing outward. Between the serpent heads appears a hexastyle round temple rendered in architectural detail, its pediment surmounted by a standing figure of Athena. To the right of the composition, a winged caduceus is depicted as a subsidiary symbol. The field carries the magistrate's name ΚΑΦΙΣΟΚΛΗΣ ΕΥΑΡΧΟΥ in Greek lettering alongside Latin administrative titles referencing his role as a Roman proconsular official, reflecting the bilingual character of late Republican cistophoric coinage. |
