The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field, a griffin seated to the left serves as a civic symbol of Assos, accompanied by a monogram serving as a mint control mark. The composition closely follows the canonical Alexandrine reverse type established under Alexander III, adapted here with local control symbols by the issuing authority at Assos. |
