Obverse description Youthful male head facing right, portrayed as Herakles wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress, with the scalp and paws knotted beneath the chin. The facial features are rendered in fine Hellenistic style, with curling hair visible beneath the lion skin at the brow and nape. The surface of the flan shows characteristic hammer-struck texture with natural flow lines in the silver. No legend or inscription appears in the field.
