| Beschrijving voorzijde | Facing right, the youthful head of Heracles depicted without beard, rendered in fine high relief characteristic of the early Hellenistic tradition. The hero is clad in the lion skin headdress — the scalp drawn over the crown with the beast's jaws framing the face and the forelegs knotted at the throat — serving as his divine attribute. The modeling of the facial features is accomplished with considerable artistry, with well-defined brow, prominent nose, and sensitively rendered lips. The hair, partially visible beneath the pelt, curls naturally at the temples and nape. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Zeus Aetophoros enthroned to the left upon a low stool-throne, his upper body nude and draped from the waist. The god extends his right arm forward, an eagle — symbol of divine authority — perched upon his outstretched hand, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre resting against his shoulder. The ethnic legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. A monogram appears in the left field, serving as a mint or magistrate control mark. The composition follows the canonical reverse type established under Alexander III of Macedon. |
