| Mô tả mặt trước | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless, wearing the scalp of the Nemean lion as a headdress, with the beast's gaping jaws visible atop the head and its pelt draping behind. The hair of the hero falls in tight curls at the temple, rendered in the Hellenistic style characteristic of late Alexandrine coinage. The portrait fills the field generously, with finely modelled facial features including a strong jaw and slightly parted lips. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse. |

In the left field, a crab serving as the civic symbol of Kos identifies the issuing mint. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, denoting issuance in the name of Alexander. The composition follows the canonical Alexandrine reverse type established under Alexander III of Macedon. |
