| Descripción del anverso | Youthful, beardless head of Heracles facing right, crowned with the scalp of the Nemean lion, the beast's gaping maw framing the hero's brow and the knotted forepaws visible at the neck. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine naturalistic detail characteristic of early Hellenistic die-cutting, the flowing locks of hair emerging beneath the lion-skin headdress. The facial features are idealized yet vigorous, alluding to the heroic ancestor claimed by the Argead dynasty. No legend appears on the obverse field. |

| Descripción del reverso | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low backless throne, his nude torso depicted in three-quarter view; he extends his right arm to support an eagle with closed wings, and holds a long upright sceptre in his left hand. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ below reads 'of King Alexander', asserting the royal authority under which the coin was struck. A control monogram appears in the left field and a second monogram below the throne, serving as mint or magistrate marks specific to the Salamis issue. The composition follows the canonical Alexander-type reverse established under Alexander III and continued by his successors. |
