| Popis rubu | The Dioskouroi, the divine twins Kastor and Polydeukes, depicted as mounted horsemen facing left, their horses rearing dynamically; each figure holds couched lances and grasps the reins, conveying vigorous martial energy in the Hellenistic tradition. To the right of the group, the control marks TPY appear above a monogram above ΣTA; the Seleucid date OP (year 170 of the Seleucid Era, corresponding to 143/142 BC) is placed below. The entire design is enclosed within an elaborate wreath combining laurel, ivy, and grain ears, a distinctive border type associated with the coinage of Antiochos VI. The royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ ΔΙΟΝΥΣΟΥ runs around the field. |
