The facial features are modeled with naturalistic precision characteristic of early fourth-century Rhodian coinage, with pronounced brow ridges, deeply set almond-shaped eyes, and a subtly parted mouth. The overall treatment reflects the accomplished die-cutting tradition of the Rhodian mint following the synoikism of 408 BC.
