The die-work is exceptionally fine, exhibiting the characteristic early Rhodian style of bold, three-dimensional portraiture. The god's gaze is direct and serene, with deeply modeled eyes, a straight nose, and slightly parted lips. The hair falls in layered, naturalistic waves over the temples and behind the ears. The flan is irregular, consistent with hand-struck issues of the early Rhodian coinage following the synoikism of 408 BC. |

In the left field, an olive branch is depicted alongside the control letter Φ. The entire design is set within a square incuse, a characteristic feature of early Rhodian tetradrachms. The composition follows the standard reverse type established at the foundation of the city of Rhodes. |
