| Description de l’avers | Facing head of Helios rendered in high relief, turned slightly to the right, with flowing wavy hair radiating outward from the face in all directions, framing the youthful, idealized features of the solar deity. The die-work is exceptionally fine, exhibiting the characteristic early Rhodian style of bold, three-dimensional portraiture. The god's gaze is direct and serene, with deeply modeled eyes, a straight nose, and slightly parted lips. The hair falls in layered, naturalistic waves over the temples and behind the ears. The flan is irregular, consistent with hand-struck issues of the early Rhodian coinage following the synoikism of 408 BC. |

| Description du revers | Rose with open bloom and bud to the right, the civic emblem of Rhodes, rendered in high relief at center. The ethnic inscription ΡΟΔΙΟΝ appears above the rose. In the left field, an olive branch is depicted alongside the control letter Φ. The entire design is set within a square incuse, a characteristic feature of early Rhodian tetradrachms. The composition follows the standard reverse type established at the foundation of the city of Rhodes. |
