The god's gaze is direct and serene, with deeply modeled eyes, a straight nose, and slightly parted lips. The hair falls in layered, naturalistic waves over the temples and behind the ears. The flan is irregular, consistent with hand-struck issues of the early Rhodian coinage following the synoikism of 408 BC. |
