| Beschrijving voorzijde | Persian king or hero depicted in the canonical kneeling-running stance to right, drawing a bow at full stretch. An Aramaic letter ṣ (ṣade) appears to the left of the figure, while two Aramaic letters ayin are positioned to the right. The figure wears traditional Persian court dress, rendered in the bold, stylized manner characteristic of Achaemenid-period coinage from Caria. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A satrap in military attire gallops vigorously to the right on a spirited horse shown in full stride, the rider brandishing a spear held at the ready in his right hand. A six-pointed star is prominently placed in the upper field above the horse and rider. The entire design is contained within a neat dotted border, a hallmark of Carian satrapal coinage of this period. The composition reflects the strong Achaemenid artistic influence prevalent in western Anatolian coinage of the mid-fourth century BC. |
