The encircling Greek legend ΔΙΟΝΥΣΟΥ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ ΜΑΡΩΝΙΤΩΝ, meaning 'of Dionysos the Saviour, of the Maroneitans,' runs around the reverse field, affirming the civic and religious identity of the issuing city. |
