The god is adorned with a taenia and an elaborate ivy wreath bearing prominently rendered ivy leaves and a cluster of grapes at the crown of the head. Long spiral tendrils of hair descend behind the ear, characteristic of the Maroneian die-cutting tradition. The portrait is struck in high relief against a plain field, with no legend on the obverse. |
