Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse depicts Baaltars, the supreme deity of Tarsus, enthroned facing left, holding a sceptre surmounted by an eagle in his right hand and a bunch of grapes in his left. The deity wears a laureate and draped garment. Aramaic legends appear in the field identifying the deity and the satrap Mazaeus.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse features a lion passant to the right attacking a bull, the bull shown collapsing beneath the lion's grip. The scene is rendered in a dynamic, detailed style characteristic of Cilician satrapal coinage of the fourth century BC, with fine engraving of the animals' musculature. The exergual line separates the main design from the lower field.
