| Reverse description | Zeus striding left in three-quarter rear view, his right arm raised and brandishing a thunderbolt, with the aegis draped over his extended left arm; a small eagle with spread wings stands at his feet to the left. The composition closely follows the Seleukid type from which the Baktrian royal coinage derives its iconographic tradition. The royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔIOΔOTOY flanks the deity, and the control letter N appears in the upper field. A beaded border encircles the design. |
