附加信息	Theodosius I struck this solidus during a period of acute dynastic pressure. The AVGGG legend — three Augusti — reflects the collegiate reign of Theodosius alongside Gratian and Valentinian II, a power-sharing arrangement that survived only until August 383, when Magnus Maximus's usurpation in Britain forced Gratian's murder at Lyon. Issues bearing three-Augustus reverses from Constantinople thus bracket a very narrow political window, after which the college changed composition entirely. RIC IX 68B is a Constantinople product, struck at a mint that Theodosius had made his primary base after arriving in the East in 379.
