| Descrizione del dritto | Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Theodosius I facing right, depicted with characteristic curling hair adorned with a pearl diadem. The emperor wears a heavily decorated paludamentum fastened at the shoulder with an ornate fibula. The facial features are rendered with refined Late Antique portraiture style, conveying imperial authority. The obverse legend D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG (Dominus Noster Theodosius Pius Felix Augustus) runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The enthroned figure of Constantinopolis seated facing, helmeted and draped, holding a sceptre in her left hand and a Victory on globe in her extended right hand, her feet resting upon the prow of a galley. The votive inscription VOT/V/MVLT/X appears on the shield or field. The reverse legend CONCOR-DIA AVGGG references the concordia of the three Augusti, with the officina letter Γ (gamma, denoting the third officina) and the mint mark CONOB in the exergue, confirming production in Constantinople in fine standard gold. |
