| Descrizione del dritto | Right-facing bust of the Emperor Honorius, rendered in high relief in the late Roman imperial style, adorned with a pearl diadem from which pendilia descend behind the ear. The emperor is depicted draped and cuirassed, with elaborately detailed paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder by a jewelled fibula. The facial features are finely struck, conveying youthful imperial authority. The encircling Latin legend reads D N HONORI-VS P F AVG, identifying the emperor as dominus noster, pius and felix Augustus. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The Emperor Honorius is depicted standing in three-quarter view to the right, clad in military attire, holding a long standard (labarum) in his right hand and a Victory statuette mounted on a globe in his left hand, while his right foot tramples upon a prostrate captive enemy — a canonical image of Roman imperial triumph. The mint letters M and D appear across the fields to either side of the figure, denoting the Mediolanum mint. The exergue bears the inscription COMOB, the standard late Roman gold mintmark combining the Comitatensian officina designation with OB for obryzum, signifying refined gold of the highest purity. The encircling legend VICTORIA AVGGG proclaims the shared victory of the three co-ruling Augusti. |
