At the apex of the cartouche, a crowned papal tiara is flanked by acanthus scrolls, while floral and shell motifs decorate the lower portion of the frame. Within the cartouche, the motto LABOR ADDITVS appears in two lines in large capital letters, with the date 1735 inscribed below. The legend alludes to the additional labors undertaken by the aged pontiff, a reference to his later pontificate.
