| Descripción del reverso | The reverse presents a bold, symmetrical cartouche composed of elaborate Baroque scrollwork and foliate ornaments, framing a two-line inscription across the central field. At the apex of the cartouche, a crowned papal tiara is flanked by acanthus scrolls, while floral and shell motifs decorate the lower portion of the frame. Within the cartouche, the motto LABOR ADDITVS appears in two lines in large capital letters, with the date 1735 inscribed below. The legend alludes to the additional labors undertaken by the aged pontiff, a reference to his later pontificate. The overall design exemplifies the refined Baroque engraving style of the Roman papal mint under the Hamerani dynasty. |
