Obverse description Central field features a compressed Arabic inscription enclosed within a lozenge-shaped or oval cartouche, the design characteristic of Golden Horde copper pul coinage of the Uzbeg Khan period. The surrounding field is plain and slightly concave due to the hammered flan. The die-struck legend is boldly rendered despite the small module, with the cartouche border clearly delineated. The flan is irregular in outline, consistent with hand-cut copper blanks typical of 14th-century Crimean mint production. Additional fragmentary Arabic inscription elements are partially visible in the upper field outside the cartouche.
