| Beschrijving voorzijde | A three-stringed lyre (kinnor) depicted centrally in the field, with a broad resonating body and curved arms surmounted by a crossbar. The Hebrew inscription SHIM'ON (שמעון), the name of the revolt leader Simeon bar Kokhba, is distributed in the field to the left and right of the lyre. The design is rendered in a bold, provincial hammered style characteristic of the Bar Kokhba Revolt coinage. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A wreath of laurel or olive branches encircling a central upright palm branch (lulav), the wreath tied at the base with a binding knot. The Hebrew inscription LEHEROT YERUSHALAYIM (לחרות ירושלם), meaning 'For the freedom of Jerusalem,' runs around the inner perimeter of the wreath. The composition is a powerful nationalistic motif common to Bar Kokhba Revolt bronzes, rendered in the characteristic bold, irregular hammered technique of the period. |
