| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays a large letter 'V' rendered in relief within a beaded partial border, occupying the majority of the field. The 'V' is boldly struck and surrounded by rough, irregular flan edges characteristic of hammered medieval coinage. Given the thin, irregularly shaped planchet, strike-through from the obverse design is visible across portions of the field. The minimalist design is consistent with the incuse or near-bracteate striking technique employed for Carinthian pfennigs of this period. |
