| 背面描述 | An eagle displayed facing upward in heraldic convention, rendered in the bold, simplified style characteristic of late 13th to early 14th century Carinthian coinage. The design is bounded by two concentric circular lines forming the border of the coin field. Rosettes and annulets are distributed within the inscription area between the border lines and the central eagle motif, filling the field in the manner typical of regional Pfennig issues of this era. |

Völkermarkt — now a quiet lakeside town in southern Austria — was one of several minting centers active in Carinthia during the turbulent decades following the extinction of the Spanheim dynasty in 1269. The attribution problem embedded in this coin's name is genuine: Meinhard II of Görz-Tyrol, his son Otto III, and the Habsburgs all exercised authority over Carinthian minting rights in overlapping and contested ways between 1286 and 1320, and die evidence alone cannot resolve which administration struck any given piece. CNA Cc44 sits in a cluster of attributionally ambiguous bracteate-adjacent issues that numismatists have debated for decades without consensus.
