| Obverse description | Veiled and diademed portrait bust of Queen Berenike II facing right, rendered in high relief in the refined Hellenistic court style. The queen's hair is elaborately coiffed and braided beneath a sheer veil that falls in naturalistic folds over her neck and shoulder. Her features are idealized yet individualized, with a gently aquiline profile characteristic of Ptolemaic royal portraiture. The field is plain and unadorned, allowing the effigy to dominate the flan. The entire design is enclosed within a border of closely spaced dots. |

| Reverse description | A large cornucopia (horn of plenty) oriented diagonally across the field, overflowing at the mouth with abundant fruits including a pomegranate, grapes, and ears of grain, its tip terminating in a bull's head. Two six-pointed stars are positioned symmetrically in the field to either side of the cornucopia. The Greek royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΗΣ ΒΕΡΕΝΙΚΗΣ runs in two columns flanking the cornucopia, with the denomination letter E (denoting the pentadrachm value) visible in the lower field. The whole design is enclosed within a dotted border. |
