Flanking the altar stand two royal attendants, each adorned with a mural crown, rendered symmetrically in the hieratic Sasanian style. The overall composition reflects the standard reverse type of Shapur II's silver fractional coinage, emphasizing the dynasty's Zoroastrian religious authority. The design is characteristic of the Kabul mint series assigned to this reign. |
