| Obverse description | Central field features a cross pattée enclosed within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by a second beaded ring creating an annular border. The surrounding field is decorated with pellets or small ornamental elements radiating outward. The circular Latin legend RODVLFVS runs along the outer periphery, preceded by a cross pommée, referencing King Rudolf III of Burgundy.
