The obverse legend encircles the effigy, identifying the subject as Flavius Claudius Constantius in his rank of most noble Caesar. The flan is irregular in shape, typical of mid-4th century AE production at the Rome mint. Surface patination is a mottled green-brown, consistent with extended burial and circulation wear. |

| Descripción del reverso | A Roman soldier or emperor, depicted in military attire and helmet, stands to the right on horseback, spearing a fallen barbarian enemy beneath the horse's hooves. The fallen figure reaches upward in a gesture of supplication. This FEL TEMP REPARATIO type with the 'falling horseman' composition is one of the most widely produced reverse types of the mid-4th century, symbolising Roman military supremacy and the restoration of prosperous times. The reverse legend encircles the scene, with the officina mark and mint signature appearing in the exergue. |
