Reverse description The reverse field is divided into an upper semicircular section and a lower rectangular grid, both bearing engraved text listing the board of directors with LORD WINDSOR as Chairman and DAVID DAVIES as Deputy Chairman, followed by ten further directors arranged in two columns. The circular border legend records the key dates: the cutting of the first sod by Lord Windsor on 14th November 1884 and the opening for public traffic by Lady Windsor on 18th July 1889. A small suspension hole is pierced at the top edge.
